Why aren't updates to my Forecast tasks showing in my Google Calendar

I created a task in Forecast and it is not showing up in my Google calendar.  I have also made updates to tasks in Forecast that do not reflect in my Google Calendar. I have the integration set up correctly. Why am I not able to see my tasks or updates to tasks immediately?

Answer

The timing for new tasks or updates to existing tasks to show in Google Calendar is entirely reliant on the frequency at which Google pings Forecast.  Currently, Google states this happens every few hours, however it may take upwards of 24hrs.
