When exporting an invoice to Xero, I receive an error about tax type and the invoice does not export, why?

Question

I need to export an invoice to Xero, but when I click Export, a Not Exported error displays, stating the tax type code cannot be used with the account code. What does this mean?

Answer

The Not Exported error stating the tax type code cannot be used with the account code needs to be resolved within Xero. Review the customer account in Xero and adjust the tax type code as needed. 
Once the customer tax type code is updated, go back to Forecast and export the invoice.
