Our Forecast account is integrating with Microsoft EntraID and we have set up user provisioning. Will the team member be deleted in Forecast if we remove the corresponding user from the custom application in MS Entra ID?
Answer
Note: In Forecast, team members cannot be deleted. Instead, they can get deactivated.
A team member's profile will become deactivated in Forecast if:
- the user is removed from the Forecast app in Entra ID AND the provisioning scope is set to "Sync assigned users and groups"
- the user account is soft-deleted in Entra ID (still visible in “deleted users”) AND the provisioning scope is set to "Sync all users and groups"
- the user account is disabled in Entra ID
This applies as long as the mapping is as follows for the ‘Active’ attribute:
