JIRA-synced projects do not allow bulk task moves across projects, why?

I need to move a number of tasks from one project to another. I select the tasks but the bulk task actions menu option, Move to another project, is not available. Why?

Answer

If the project is synced with JIRA, the bulk task action option, Move to anther project is not available. The tasks will need to be moved in JIRA instead of Forecast.
