Forecast now has a dedicated Client entity, complete with its own list, profile page, and creation/edit flows — along with the ability to attach Contacts to a client instead of relying solely on guest users.

What's Changing
Clients in Forecast have historically been managed as a single flat record, with guest users used as a workaround for tracking individual points of contact. This update gives you a dedicated place to manage the people at a client organization — not just the organization itself.
Why This Matters
You now have a proper way to track the people you work with at a client. This means cleaner records today, and lays the groundwork for what's coming next.
Clients Experience
Navigation & structure: Clients now have a dedicated entry in the top navigation, along with a full list page and individual profile pages. Clients no longer appear in the Admin Panel.
Creating a client: Clients can be created from the global create button. When creating a client, you can specify the client name, website (optional), street (optional), city (optional), zip code (optional), state (optional), country (optional), tax code (optional), and logo.
The client overview:
The client overview page serves as the central location for client information, including the client name, any notes, and the number of projects linked to that client. Edits can be made via the three-dot menu.
- When you click into a client's profile, you can view additional details like website, primary contact, associated contacts, client location, created date, and modified date.
- From here, you can also view status, add notes, edit client details, or access integration links; selecting a link navigates to the client's profile.
Carried-over functionality: The existing list behaviors — edit, delete, and client permissions — remain consistent in the new experience.
Contacts Experience
Contacts are individual people tied to a client. They can't exist independently of one.
Creating a contact
- Contacts can be created from the top navigation via the create button, or directly within a client record.
- When adding a contact, enter first name, last name, and email address, along with job title (optional) and phone number (optional).
Primary contact & guest user access
- On a client's profile, you can view which contact is the primary contact.
- You can view whether a contact has guest user access (yes/no).
Contacts list view
- The contacts list displays contact name, email, phone number, position, status, and whether they have guest user access.
- Each contact is represented by a status indicating whether they are current or part of the all contact history.
Where Else You'll See Contacts
Projects: Assign a primary contact to a project, visible on the project page.
Reporting: Filter the Project Performance Report (PPR) by contact.
Invoicing: Select a contact when creating an invoice, see contact info on invoice detail pages, use contact as a column and filter in the invoice list, and see the contact name when exporting invoices to CSV or PDF.

Coming Next
Following this release, we’ll be rolling out improved client record syncing.
Client sync will soon bring over even more of the data your sales and account teams already maintain in Salesforce and HubSpot, like website and region.
