We are continually looking for ways to better align your sales and project delivery teams. To help bridge the gap between project planning and HubSpot, we are excited to introduce a new addition to our HubSpot integration: the ability to push Forecast baseline deliverables directly into HubSpot as native Quotes.
What's New and Why?
We heard that commercial teams need structured quote visibility directly within HubSpot, but manually maintaining separate pricing spreadsheets is time-consuming and prone to error.
To solve this, users can now take a Forecast project that is linked to a HubSpot deal and manually push the project's baseline deliverables directly to HubSpot. This automatically generates a native Quote object in HubSpot, with each Forecast deliverable mapped as a separate line item.
How It Works
We have added a streamlined trigger directly within your project's baseline workflow:
Navigate to the Baseline page of a Forecast project linked to a HubSpot deal.
Click the new Push to HubSpot button. (Note: This button is only enabled if you have added deliverables to your baseline).
The button will temporarily disable while the quote is generated in the background.
Once completed, a confirmation message stating "Quote created successfully. HubSpot has been updated." will appear, and the quote will instantly be visible to sales and commercial users alongside the deal in HubSpot.
Data Privacy and Security
Protecting your internal financial data is critical. When pushing deliverables to HubSpot, only sell-side data is pushed. Your internal cost rates and margins are never exposed to the HubSpot. The final quote total simply reflects your baseline total (the sum of all deliverable line items added together).
Field Mappings and Defaults
When the Quote object is created in HubSpot, the data maps exactly as follows:
-
Quote Details:
Forecast Project Name = HubSpot Quote Name
Forecast User (First Name, Last Name, Email) = HubSpot Quote Sender
-
Line Items:
Forecast Deliverable Name = HubSpot Line Item Name
Forecast Deliverable Description = HubSpot Line Item Description
Forecast Deliverable Revenue = HubSpot Line Item Unit Price
Default Settings: To ensure quick generation, the quote is created using HubSpot's 'Default basic' quote template and is set to 'No signature'. Buyer information (Contact and Company) and 'Your Company' information are intentionally left blank, falling back to HubSpot's standard manual quote defaults.
