To give you greater control over your data and get ahead of client feedback, we are introducing new, granular syncing options for the Forecast-Salesforce integration.
Starting today, you can preemptively configure your settings to opt-out of bidirectionally syncing key opportunity fields before the full two-way sync logic officially goes live later this month.
What's Changing Today?
We have updated the Salesforce Integration settings page to allow you to choose exactly how data will flow between platforms:
New 'Bidirectional Sync' Settings: Directly below 'Opportunity Stages', you will find a new 'Bidirectional Sync' component. This allows you to control the upcoming two-way sync behavior:
Toggled OFF: Keeps a strict one-way update sync (Salesforce → Forecast).
Toggled ON: Pre-approves a two-way update sync between Forecast and Salesforce.
Important Timeline
While these toggle options are available to configure starting today (08/06/26), the actual bidirectional syncing logic will not be activated until 22/06/26.
Which fields does this apply to?
The new bidirectional sync toggles specifically apply to the following linked fields:
Opportunity Name
Opportunity Amount
Opportunity Start Date & End Date
Where to find it
To configure your preferences ahead of the launch, head over to Admin > Integrations > Salesforce.
