About Client Profiles
In Forecast, Clients are used in connection with reports, rate cards, and budgets to give you the best possible means of managing your projects. Invite clients into Forecast as guest users providing a limited view of project information and insights. Import clients from integrations like Pipedrive or Hubspot and export invoices to Xero, Quickbooks and e-conomic.
Creating a Client Profile (for Admins)
Using the Admin panel's Client page, Admins can import client profiles from connected integrations, or create individual client profiles manually. Once a profile is created, clients may be assigned to projects.
To create a Client profile manually
- Click Admin in the navigation ribbon.
- Select Clients from the dropdown.
- Click Add Client.
- Add the name of the client and their logo.
- Click Add Client
Creating Client Profiles (for non-Admins)
Non-admin user with Manage Projects permission can also create Client profiles from within a project or by using Create. More information on managing user permissions can be found in About Permission Profiles.
To create a Client profile using Create
- Click Create at the top right.
- Select Client from the dropdown.
- Add the client name and logo if applicable.
- Click Add Client.
To create a Client profile from within a project
- Click Projects in the navigation ribbon.
- Select All Projects from the dropdown.
- Open a project.
- Click Clients in the left side panel.
- Click to expand the dropdown Select client for your project.
- Scroll to the end of the client list.
- Click Add New Client.
- Enter the Client name and logo if applicable.
- Click Add Client.
Importing Client Profiles from Connected Integrations
If your Forecast account is connected to integrations such as Salesforce, Pipedrive, HubSpot, e-conomic, Quickbooks or Xero, you may create client profiles by importing them from the integration. Managing Client Profiles
Client profiles contain key information such as client address and notes that may be relevant to the client. Client profiles are also used to manage guest users for the client's organization and to link the client with connected integration clients.
To manage a client profile
- Click Admin in the navigation ribbon.
- Select Clients from the dropdown.
- Click on the Client name.
- Update the Client's company details including:
- Company name
- Street
- Zip
- City
- Country
- VAT number
- Use Notes to include key details or information specific to the client.

All Guest Users shows the client users permitted access to your Forecast account.
