I am having trouble setting up the Pipedrive integration. I don't see Forecast fields in the Pipedrive deal and the deal is not triggering creation of a Forecast project. Why?

Not seeing Forecast fields in Pipedrive or a Pipedrive deal not triggering a Forecast project to be created could be caused by the following:

Projects did not trigger in Forecast - this may be because historical deals are not created in Forecast. Therefore once you have configured the integration within Forecast, if you now create or move a deal into negotiation (or any other stages you've configured a trigger within Forecast) it should be created/updated in Forecast.

Forecast fields were missing in Pipedrive - Once you set up the integration go to a Deal > Required Fields> Set Up > then you will see the Forecast fields that you can add to that deal or select the box to add to all deals.

Pipedrive deal won is not visible within the integration configuration - When you select closed won on a deal within Pipedrive that button is not included in the integration. If you create a new deal column in the pipeline named Closed Won and if required Closed Lost, these will then be reflected in the Forecast integration. If you customize the deal stage columns and rename them or add new ones, these should all be reflected.
