May was an exciting month for our product! We’re excited to share what we released in May and what we’re working on.
What We Released in May: Key Highlights & Enhancements
Improved visibility of submitted timesheets awaiting approval
We've added clear indicators of submitted timesheets awaiting approval directly on the calendar and date picker within the timesheet approval view.
Why it matters: This helps approvers quickly identify pending submissions, reducing the chance of missed approvals and improving overall timesheet processing efficiency.
Reordering of phases & scoping
You can now manage project phases directly within Scoping, including the ability to add, rename, adjust dates, delete, and reorder phases.
Why it matters: This provides greater flexibility and control over project structure, making it easier to adapt plans as project requirements evolve.
HubSpot Integration Updates: New Bidirectional Sync Options
We’ve upgraded our HubSpot integration with new bidirectional sync controls, allowing teams to choose how Deal Name, Deal Amount, and Deal Start Date/End Date are synced between Forecast and HubSpot. This includes the option to opt out of bidirectional syncing so these fields only sync one-way from HubSpot to Forecast only or the syncing behaviour can be turned off all-together. See the new 'Bidirectional Sync' and 'Enabled Fields' options on the Salesforce integration page.
Why it matters: These updates give teams more control over data flow, helping prevent unintended overwrites, improve data accuracy and consistency across systems, align syncing with actual workflows, and increase confidence in forecasting and reporting.
HubSpot quote line items from project deliverables
Users with deliverables on projects can now push those deliverables to HubSpot as line items on quotes directly from Forecast.
Why it matters: This removes the need to manually re-enter project deliverables in HubSpot, keeping quotes aligned with project scope and reducing duplication of effort.
Deliverables (Open Beta)
For projects with Baseline, you can define Deliverables, create Baseline estimates, and associate Tasks and Phases with the relevant Deliverable.
Why it matters: This improves visibility and structure across projects by clearly linking scope, estimates, and execution to specific deliverables.
