Feature Details
Financial Categories
The largest financial reporting investment in the platform's history, touching every financial surface in the product.
- New Revenue field added to standard reporting. A new Revenue field now runs through Baseline, Estimated, Actual, Remaining Work, and Projected Total — and it's now the basis for Profit and Margin reporting (replacing "Billable Time and Expenses" for that purpose).
- More accurate Fixed Price and T&M reporting. The new Revenue field respects budget type, Manual Revenue Recognition, and month locking — closing the gap that previously made some projects look healthier than they actually were.
- "Billable Time and Expenses" renamed to "Billable Value of Service." Still useful as a comparison metric, just repositioned — no longer the basis for Profit/Margin.
-
Three core categories renamed for clarity:
- Planned → Estimated
- Forecast to Complete → Remaining Work
- Total at Completion → Projected Total
- Consistency and tooltip improvements. Terminology is being standardized platform-wide, and tooltips are being updated/added where missing.

Flexible Pipeline Opportunity Reporting
Weighted Forecasting: Apply win probability as a multiplier across financial and hours fields via a toggle.
Scenario-Based Filtering: New "Project Win %" filter with saved thresholds - for instant best/base/worst-case projections.

Baseline Upgrades
Read and Edit Modes: Dedicated modes to safely review Baselines without risk of accidental edits.
Read Mode:
Edit Mode:
Phase Management Modal: Unified interface for adding, renaming, deleting, and reordering phases; phase order is no longer locked to date sequence.
Generate Placeholders from Baseline: Single-click placeholder generation from Baseline estimates (requires Project Allocation or Combined Resourcing mode; not compatible with Task-based resourcing).

New Rich Text Editor
Redesigned rich text editor rolled out across program descriptions, sprint goals, and project descriptions. This makes it easier to format and read important project details, so teams can communicate plans more clearly and stay aligned.
Invoice Notes Cleanup in Advanced Analytics
Invoice Notes in AvA are now cleaner and easier to read. We removed leftover formatting characters that used to show up in the text, so finance and ops teams see clean, readable notes.
Time Registration Settings Enforced via API
Time registration restrictions can now be enforced against API submissions, not just the UI, closing a gap where API-based time entry could bypass firm rules. Toggle defaults to OFF.
To access this, go to Admin > Time Management > Time Registration Settings:
Delete Time Entries from Week View
Time entries can now be deleted directly from Week view, removing the need to switch to Day view.
This saves time and reduces friction for anyone correcting entries — no more jumping between views just to remove a mistake.
Timesheet Approval Visibility Improvements
Previously, it was easy for late timesheet entries to slip through the cracks. Approvers and managers had to click through week by week to check for submitted timesheets awaiting action — a slow, manual process.
Now, clear indicators show at a glance when submitted timesheets need attention, making it much faster to see where pending timesheets are sitting across the month, or to confirm everything is up to date.
How it works
- The calendar now shows a counter for the number of submitted time entries in the current week that are awaiting approval.
- Use the arrows in the calendar to quickly jump forward and backward by month or year.
- A red dot on the double arrows next to the current week selection means there are submitted timesheets in other months.
- A red dot on the single arrows next to the current week selection means there are submitted timesheets in other weeks within the current month.
