Forecast enables you to apply changes to multiple tasks simultaneously via the Scoping and Task Board views, using a drawer menu at the bottom of each page.

How to use Bulk Task Actions
Bulk Task Actions allows you to manage multiple tasks at once. Bulk Task Actions is available in each project's Scoping and Task Board pages.
To use Bulk Task Actions from Scoping
- Click Projects in the navigation ribbon.
- Select All Projects from the dropdown.
- Open the project you are working with.
- Select Scoping in left side panel.
- Tick the box next to the task ID for each task you wish to action.
- Alternatively, use Shift + click to select a contiguous range of tasks.
- Select the bulk action from the drawer menu at the bottom of the page.
To use Bulk Task Actions from Task Board
- Open the project you are working with.
- Select Task Board in the left side panel.
- Tick the box at the upper left corner of each task's card.
- Select the bulk action from the drawer menu at the bottom of the page.
Types of Bulk Task Actions
There are a number of actions available in the bulk task actions menu. Upon selecting tasks, the drawer menu opens at the bottom of the page displaying the number of selected tasks and the available actions.
Bulk Task Actions include:
Automate
Automate is used to assign roles or people to all selected tasks.
To use Automate to assign Roles
- Select all of the tasks you wish to action.
- In the actions menu, select Automate.
- Select Assign roles.

Assign Roles displays the suggested roles for each of the selected tasks. Suggested roles are based on previous projects.
To use Automate to assign People
- Select all of the tasks you wish to action.
- In the actions menu, select Automate.
- Select Assign people.

Assign people displays suggested assignees for each of the selected tasks. Suggested assignees are based on previous projects.
To use Automate to add Work Estimates
- Select all of the tasks you wish to action.
- In the actions menu, select Automate.
- Select Add Work Estimates.
- Review the suggested work estimates, make any changes as needed, then click Apply.
Bulk Task Update
Bulk Task Update allows you to update existing task detail such as the task's Estimate, Dates, Labels, Role and Assignees. You can also use Bulk Task Update to approve tasks.
To use Bulk Task Update
- Open the project you are working with.
- In Scoping or Task Board, select all tasks you wish to update.
- In the actions menu, select Bulk Task Update.
- Complete the form with the changes and click Update.
Move Tasks
Move Tasks allows you to move tasks to a different workflow status, phase or project. If a task move is not permitted, the option will not be available for selection.
To use Move Tasks
- Open the project you are working with.
- In Scoping or Task Board, select all tasks you wish to update.
- In the actions menu, select Move Tasks.
- Select the action you wish to take.
- For Move to another status, select the new status and click Update.
- For Move to another phase, select the new phase and click Update.
- For Move to another project, select the new project and click Update.
Tasks in Jira-synced projects may not be moved unless the destination project is also synced with Jira. For more information, check out: Why can't I move tasks to another project?
Delete
To permanently remove multiple tasks from a project, use the bulk action Delete.
To use Delete
- Open the project you are working with.
- In Scoping or Task Board, select all tasks you wish to update.
- In the actions menu, select Delete.
- Confirm the warning and click Delete.
- The tasks are permanently removed from the project.
