Why can't I see in Analytics the changes I just made in Forecast?

I have just made an update in Forecast, but the change is not visible in Advanced Analytics (AvA). Why is that?

Changes made in Forecast are not instantly reflected in AvA. Analytics data gets refreshed at regular intervals. These refreshes are scheduled to start running twice per hour: at the top of the hour (00) and at bottom of the hour (30). They take about half an hour to complete.

It can take up to 1 hour at the most to see the changes in AvA.

For example:
If you made a change at 14:32 (just after the 14:30 data rebuild started), then this data would be included in the 15:00 rebuild. If this rebuild finishes at 15:27, then it would have taken almost 1 hour to see the change in AvA.

The timestamp at the top of your dashboard means that the data in Analytics is “as of” this time & date in Forecast. (It is the time at which the latest data refresh started.)
