Where to Find Clients and Contacts
Clients live under Clients in the top navigation.
Contacts live within each client's profile — every contact is associated with a specific client.
Creating a Client Profile (for Admins)
Admins can create client profiles a few different ways:
Importing client profiles from connected integrations
From the Clients Overview:
If your Forecast account is connected to integrations such as Salesforce, Pipedrive, HubSpot, e-conomic, QuickBooks, or Xero, you can create client profiles by importing them directly from the integration.
Each integration's setup guide walks through the import process:
- Setting up the Salesforce for Forecast Integration
- Connecting Pipedrive with Forecast
- Connecting HubSpot with Forecast
- Linking/Importing e-conomic Customers to Forecast
- Integrate QuickBooks Online with Forecast
- Syncing Xero Clients with Forecast

Whether they have guest user access and, if so, how many projects they can access.

Note: For more on guest user access, see the Guest User Access for Client Contacts help guide.
Client and Contact Behavior on Projects
When you manually add a project, selecting a client will also prompt you to select a contact for that client:
A few things to be aware of when working with clients from within a project:
- If a project doesn't already have a client linked, you can add one directly from the project, permissions allowing. Clients added this way will only include their name and logo.
- You can no longer manage guest user access from the Clients view within Projects. You'll be directed to the main Clients page to manage client contact guest user access instead.
- You can still edit some Client details from the Projects view, though these reflect an older set of fields.
