About the HubSpot for Forecast Integration
The integration's dataflow is two-way enabling you to automate project creation from HubSpot and view important Forecast project information in your HubSpot deals. In the diagram below, the arrows show which platform the data comes from and where it syncs to.
By default, Deal Name, Deal Amount, and Start & End dates sync in both directions (indicated by the ↔ arrow). You can change this to a one-way sync using the Bidirectional Sync setting.

Use the HubSpot integration to:
- Improve project pipeline visibility. Connect HubSpot and Forecast for seamless data flow.
- Automate project creation. Select a predefined Forecast template in HubSpot to auto-create projects.

- Save time. Eliminate the need to manually configure new projects for each deal.
- Gain customizable insights. Display project details in HubSpot’s Deal View via automatic updates from Forecast.
Connecting HubSpot with Forecast
The HubSpot for Forecast integration is enabled by a Forecast Admin. Once connected, Admins manage the integration, sync pipelines and deal stages, and control linked fields and project templates.
To set up the integration from within Forecast
- Click Admin in the navigation bar.
- Select Integrations from the dropdown.
- Scroll to Sales & CRM.
- Click HubSpot.
- Click Activate.
- Sign into your HubSpot account.
- Confirm your login.
- Choose your HubSpot account.
- Review and accept the terms and conditions.
- Your account is connected and you are redirected back to Forecast.
To set up the integration from within Hubspot
- In your HubSpot account, click the Marketplace icon in the top navigation bar, then select HubSpot Marketplace.
- Locate and click the Forecast app card.
- In the top left, click Install.
- In the dialog box, click Sign in to log in to your Forecast account.
- In the newly opened window, complete the Forecast sign-in process.
- After being redirected back to HubSpot, review the app's requirements, select the checkbox, and click Connect app.
- Once the app is installed, you can choose to:
- Click Explore app features to go to the Feature Discovery section of the app overview page.
- Click Customize app cards to customize the app's cards.
Click the X in the top right to return to the app listing page.
Syncing Forecast Clients with HubSpot
With the HubSpot integration, Forecast Admins can import new clients from HubSpot or sync existing Forecast clients with HubSpot. Syncing clients helps streamline invoicing and ensures consistency between your Forecast projects and HubSpot deals. Synced profiles display the HubSpot logo on the Forecast Clients page.
To import clients from HubSpot
- Click on Admin in the navigation bar.
- Select Clients from the dropdown.
- Click Import from HubSpot.
- Select all of the clients available or select specific clients to import.
- Click Create client.
- A Forecast Client profile is created and linked to HubSpot.
To synchronize existing Forecast client profiles with HubSpot
- Click Admin in the navigation bar.
- Select Clients from the dropdown.
- Open the client profile.
- Scroll down to HubSpot.
- Select the HubSpot Client profile from the dropdown.
- Click Link to synchronize the two profiles.
- Your account is connected and you are redirected back to Forecast.
