- Scroll down to Sales & CRM.
- Click Salesforce.

- Click Install Salesforce.

- Select Install for All Users.
- Tick the box to acknowledge the installation and click Upgrade.

- The activation process begins immediately. If the activation process is interrupted, you can restart it by going back to the Salesforce integration page and clicking Activate.
- The integration is now active.
- Optional: Click Integration settings in Forecast to configure the Opportunity to Project sync. These settings may be configured later, once the package update is complete. The steps to configure the integration's sync are outlined in Syncing Salesforce Opportunities with Forecast.
- Click Done to continue to the Package update.
Reviewing Installed Packages
Some features of the integration require the latest package. It is recommended that you update to the latest package to ensure you have full access to the integration's functionality.
If the package you currently have installed is not the most recent, you will be presented with a banner at the top of the Salesforce Installed Packages page with a link to the most recent package.
Importing Clients from Salesforce
Import client profiles from Salesforce before you start syncing opportunities with projects. Importing clients from Salesforce ensures that client data is available in Forecast before you start syncing Opportunities and creating projects.
If an Opportunity client does not already exist in Forecast, a new client profile is created when the Opportunity meets the stage required to trigger project creation in Forecast.
To manually import Salesforce clients to Forecast
- Click on Admin in the navigation ribbon.
- Select Clients from the dropdown.
- Click Import from Salesforce.
- Select the clients that you wish to import and click Create Clients.
- New client profiles are created in Forecast. Profiles synced with Salesforce display the Salesforce logo.
