The QuickBooks integration works by importing customers from QuickBooks to Forecast and exporting Invoices from Forecast to QuickBooks. After an invoice has been exported to QuickBooks, any payments made to the invoice in QuickBooks will be synchronized back to Forecast and will automatically appear on a project's budget page as the paid amount.
