Forecast's integration with Xero provides improved financial monitoring and accessibility. Using the integration enables users to manage invoices, purchase orders and clients. In order to take advantage of the integration's capabilities, client profiles must first be linked across platforms.

Importing Client Profiles from Xero
In order to export to Xero, invoices must contain an assigned client. With the integration, you can create new Forecast client profiles by importing your clients from Xero. Client profiles can be imported in bulk or individually.
To import client profiles from Xero
- Click Admin in the navigation ribbon.
- Select Clients from the dropdown.
- Click Import from Xero at the top right.
- Select the clients to import or use Select all.
- Click Create Clients.
- A new client profile is created for each imported client. Profiles linked with Xero will reflet the Xero logo.
Linking Existing Forecast Clients with Xero
If client profiles already exist in Forecast, you can link them to Xero manually. Manual linking is done within the Forecast client profile.
To link an existing client profile with Xero
- Click Admin in the navigation ribbon.
- Select Clients from the dropdown.
- Find the profile to link with Xero.
- Click on the profile icon or hover over the right side of the profile and click Edit to open the profile.
- Scroll down to Xero.
- Select the Xero client from the dropdown.
- Confirm the action by clicking Link.
- The client profile is now linked with Xero and displays the Xero logo to reflect.
Unlinking Client Profiles
It is possible to unlink client profiles from Xero if needed. Unlinking is done manually within an individual Forecast client profile.
To unlink a client profile from Xero
- Click Admin in the navigation ribbon.
- Select Clients from the dropdown.
- Find the client profile to unlink.
- Click on the profile icon or hover over the right side of the profile and click Edit to open the profile.
- Scroll down to Xero.
- Click Unlink.
- Confirm the warning and click Unlink.
- The client profile is now unlinked from Xero and no longer displays the Xero logo.
