This article explains which information from Forecast reaches your client through the Client Workspace, what stays internal, and which settings change that.

What decides what a user sees
Three things control a user's view:
Whether the project is shared. Only projects with Show in client workspace turned on appear in the workspace.
The user's visibility. A user sees either every shared project for their client (Whole client org) or only the projects selected for them (Specific programs/projects).
The client's settings. The Feature Flags on the client's Workspace tab apply to every user and every project for that client.
What your clients can see
For each project they have access to, client users can see:
Project summary: the project name, whether it's running, its type and end date, progress by phases completed, projected hours and hours logged.
Phases: each phase's name, dates, completion percentage and status.
Tasks: each task's name, status, due date and assignee, plus its start date, phase and time logged when the task is opened.
Your team's names: the names and avatars of the people assigned to each task.
Timeline: the project's phases on a timeline.
Retainers: for retainer projects, each period's target, hours used, hours remaining and burn, when Show retainer usage is on.
Comments: all comments on the project and its tasks, when Show comments is on. Comments are visible to everyone in the workspace.
Note: Anything your team writes in a workspace comment is visible to the client. Keep internal discussion in Forecast.
What stays internal
The following Forecast information isn't shown in the workspace:
Financials from the project, such as revenue, cost, profit, margin and billable value.
Projects that aren't shared, and shared projects the user hasn't been given access to.
Project status updates you write in the project's Settings > Status. The workspace's Project health tile currently shows Not set by the delivery firm.
Settings that change what clients see
These settings are on the client's Workspace tab, under Feature Flags, and apply to every project for that client.
