Overview of Forecast's Calendar Integration

Integrate your calendar with Forecast and unlock improved efficiency and increased productivity across your daily workflow. With Forecast's calendar integration you can view and access Forecast tasks directly from your calendar, track time or create calendar meetings from within Forecast tasks.

Overview of Forecast's Calendar Integration

Forecast's Calendar integration enables users to connect their Google, i-Cal or MS Outlook calendars to Forecast. Once the integration is connected, users can view Forecast tasks in their calendar and create calendar meetings from tasks.

If your organization has opted into participating in Forecast's Beta program, our current Calendar Events Beta takes this functionality even further, allowing you to view your calendar events within Forecast and convert them to timesheet entries.

Configuring Forecast's Calendar Integration

Forecast's Calendar Integration connects your Google, i-Cal or MS Outlook calendar with your Forecast profile. Once the integration is enabled by an Admin, individual users can link their personal calendar to their Forecast profile. 

To enable the Calendar integration

1. Click Admin in the navigation bar.
2. Select Integrations from the dropdown. 
3. Click Calendar
4. Click Activate.

Once Calendar is activated, users must link their user profile to their calendar, in order to use the integration's features and functionality.
