Importing or linking clients with Sage Intacct
For the data sync between the platforms to work, Clients need to be linked to or imported from Sage Intacct as the very first step in configuring the integration.
To import Sage Intacct Customers to Forecast
This option is particularly useful when there are no Clients registered in Forecast or when a bulk upload from Sage is required.
- Click on Admin in the top bar.
- Select Clients from the dropdown.
- From the Clients page click on 'Import from Sage Intacct'.
- In the pop-up window, select the Sage customers you want to import from the list, and Click on Create Clients.
- Clients profiles will be automatically imported into Forecast. If you are importing clients, in addition to existing Forecast clients, this will not override your list.

Importing departments from Sage Intacct
With the integration it is possible to import your Sage Intacct Departments into Forecast to quickly organize your team members and ensure your organizational structure is aligned in both platforms.
