Why can't I update the Remaining Work Estimate setting in a project?

I want to change the Remaining Work Estimate in my project's settings, but the option is grayed out and won't let me change it. Why?

To identify the reason the option to change this setting is not available, hover your mouse over the setting to display the tooltip. This will give you more information and insight into why the option to change the setting is not available. 

If the tooltip cites an integration, you should also check the Integrations page within project settings to confirm the integration with this specific Forecast project or to find additional information. 

For example, the tooltip might reference the Jira integration. By checking the Integrations page in Project Settings, you would find that the option to sync remaining time with Jira is turned on and therefore preventing you from manually adjusting the Remaining Work Estimate setting for Tasks.
