Currency
Set your company currency. This will be the default currency for new rate cards and the currency used in Standard Reporting and Advanced Analytics. For more information on currencies, see Configuring Your Rate Cards and Configuring Currencies.
Default Working Hours
Set your company's default working hours. Non-working days, or those with 0h assigned will appear with gray shading. Setting company-wide working hours explains how to set or change your default working hours.
Company default working hours populate team member working hours within each user profile. To avoid manually entering working hours for each of your team members, consider entering your company working hours before adding team members. Any team members who may have working hours that are different from the company default working hours can be updated individually to reflect.
To learn more about individual working hours, see Setting up your individual working hours.
Weekend Settings
Set your company-wide weekend preferences. Define how you and your team would like to handle weekends in Forecast when it comes to planning work only. Weekend settings directly impact project Timelines, People Schedule and My Timesheets.
-
Include weekends (Company Level): Weekends are reflected across the platform for all project planning purposes. If weekends are set as non-working days (0h) this means that any estimated values on a task that runs through a weekend, will be evenly distributed across the working days that the task spans across.
Adjusting the toggle from Include weekends to Exclude weekends requires Admin confirmation.
-
Exclude weekends (Company Level): Weekends will not be reflected across the platform for all project planning purposes and cannot be used across your account. This means that: projects, phases, sprints, tasks and allocations cannot be scheduled on weekends and therefore not be considered in your planning.
Adjusting the toggle from Exclude weekends to Include weekends requires Admin confirmation.
-
Show/Hide Weekends Toggle (User level): Weekends can be toggled on or off via the eye icon by any user in your company across all timelines (Schedule People, Schedule Project/All Timelines and project timelines). This may impact your project planning e.g.: if a task falls within a weekend and the weekends are toggled off, tasks may not appear in project Timelines or People Schedule.
Selecting Show/Hide Weekends Toggle (User level) also requires Admin confirmation.
Time zone
Set your company's time zone. Company time zone defines the time in which company notifications like Timesheet Reminders and Project Digest are sent. See Viewing and configuring Account notifications for more on using company-wide reminders.
Billable Utilization Target
Adjust your company's billable utilization target. Billable utilization target appears in utilization reporting comparing the target value and Forecasted Billable Utilization. To learn more about utilization reporting, check out Overview of Utilization Report.
Resource Management

- Allocate people to projects: Do resource planning by allocating people to projects. You can still assign tasks to resources but the resourcing heatmap will reflect only the project allocations.
- Assign people to tasks: Manage your resources using tasks and see the resulting impact on their availability and utilization in the resourcing heatmap.
- Both project allocations and task assignments: Do resource planning with both project allocations and task assignments. The People Schedule heatmap will give a view of resource demand across both project allocations and task assignments. you will also be able to switch between a view of tasks-only or allocations-only.
