Now, you are ready to configure the Sage PSA integration. If you have not yet enabled web services, check out Prerequisites for Sage PSA before proceeding to connect the Sage PSA integration.
This article covers:
Connecting Sage PSA
- Log into your Sage PSA site, https://sage.forecast.it/login.
- From Admin, select Configure Sage PSA.
- Under Connection, complete the form with the details defined in Prerequisites for Sage PSA.
Tip: Location ID is the identifier of a Sage Intacct entity, commonly used to represent a company's subsidiary. Providing a Location ID ensures data is retrieved only for the specified entity. If Location ID is blank, Sage PSA will import from all Sage Intacct entities. Specify a single entity in the Location ID field and Sage PSA will import data only for that entity. It is not possible to specify multiple entities in the Location ID field. Best practice is to provide a Location ID to limit data imported to an individual entity when fetching customers or purchase orders. - Click Connect.
Connection status
Once connected, Connection status will display as Connected and data will start syncing.
Configuration Settings
Configuration Settings identifies your source of truth for timesheets. With the default-selected Use PSA Timesheets, time entries are managed in Sage PSA and imported to Sage Intacct. To use Sage Intacct as your source for timesheets, remove the default selection and Update Settings. Timesheets entered in Sage Intacct will now import to Sage PSA.
