Before connecting the Sage PSA integration, ensure you meet these basic requirements.

Prerequisites
You must have:
- Subscribed to Sage Intacct Project Costing and Billing (or Grants Tracking and Billing)
- Created a Sage Intacct company site
- Created users in Sage Intacct
- Created departments in Sage Intacct (optional)
- A list of your clients in Sage Intacct
- A Sage PSA site - https://sage.forecast.it/login
Enabling web services subscriptions
To connect the Sage PSA integration, first create a Web Service User and subscribe to Web Services in Sage Intacct.
Subscribing to Web Services
Within Sage Intacct, subscribe to Web Services and add your company's Sender ID to the allowed list.
To subscribe to Web Services
- Log into Sage Intacct.
- From Company, select Subscriptions.
- Find Web Services and toggle on to subscribe.
To add your Sender ID to the allowed list
- Log into Sage Intacct.
- From Company, select Company Info.
- Click Edit.
- Click on the Security tab.
- Go to Web Services authorizations and add the Sender ID.
- Your company’s Sender ID for Sage PSA will be forecastISV (case-sensitive).
Creating a Web Services user
Next, create a role and a Web Services user.
To create a role
- Log into Sage Intacct.
- From Company, select Roles.
- Click Add.
- Name the role SagePSA and click Save.
- Select the necessary permissions for each applicable module. The minimum permissions required by Sage PSA are defined in Sage Intact Web Services User Permissions.
- Click Save.
To create a Web Services user
- Log into Sage Intacct.
- From Company, select Web Services users.
- Click New.
- Input values for these fields:
- User ID as SagePSA
- Last name
- First name
- Email address - Use a generic service email, not the email of any Sage PSA user.
- User Type as Business User
- Admin Privileges as Full
- Click Roles information and select the role created in the previous step.
- Click User Entities and tick Enable access to top-level.
- Click Save.
- Ignore any warning referencing a charge for creating the user.
- Once the user is set up, Sage Intacct will email login credentials to the email addressed entered for the assigned web services user.
- Ensure that your Web Services user is only used for web services to apply smart rules correctly. To prevent your smart rules from breaking, avoid performing operations via the Sage Intacct interface using the same user ID that enables the Sage PSA connection.
