A one-way sync imports Sage Intacct clients and users into Sage PSA. An automated weekly sync ensures client and user details are consistently updated to match Sage Intacct. Any modifications made to clients or users in Sage PSA will be overwritten during this weekly synchronization.

Clients Sync Rules
- In Sage PSA, customers are referred to as clients.

Customers associated with Intacct projects will be synced to Sage PSA as clients.
- If a customer in Sage Intacct is removed, the corresponding client in Sage PSA is unlinked but not removed. The client may be manually re-linked to Sage Intacct within the Sage PSA client profile.
- If a client is removed in Sage PSA, the corresponding customer in Sage Intacct will not be removed. The customer may be manually re-imported into Sage PSA.
Clients can be imported in bulk.
To sync clients
- Click Admin.
- Select Clients from the dropdown.
- Use Import from Sage Intacct to import clients from Sage Intacct into Sage PSA.
- Tick the box for each client you wish to import from Intacct. Or, use Select first 100 clients to bulk import batches of 100 clients.
- Click Import Clients.
- Successfully imported clients will display the Sage logo under Integrations on their client profile.

Users Sync Rules
- In Sage PSA, employees are referred to as team members.
- Employees assigned as resources to an Intacct project—with a start date and billing rate—will be synced to Sage PSA as team members.
- To invite users to Sage PSA, an Admin will need to add an email address to each user profile in Sage PSA.
- If a user is removed in Sage Intacct, the corresponding user is unlinked in Sage PSA but not removed. The user may be re-linked to Sage Intacct with the Sage PSA user profile.
- If a user is removed from Sage PSA, the corresponding user is not be removed from Sage Intacct. The user may be manually re-imported into Sage PSA.
Bulk import users from Sage Intacct.
To sync users
- Click Admin.
- Select Resources from the dropdown.
- On the People tab, use Import Team Members from Sage Intacct to import users from Sage Intacct into Sage PSA.
- In Import Team Members from Sage Intacct, select the permission level you wish to assign and the team members you wish to import from Sage Intacct. For details on permission profiles in Sage PSA, see Sage PSA Permission Profiles.
- Assign imported team members to their Sage Intacct departments, if desired.
- Click Import Selected Team Members.
- Successfully imported users will display the Sage logo under Integrations on their user profile.
