When creating projects, it's important to assign team members so they can access their projects, manage task assignments and contribute their work. Unless you're an Admin or have custom permission to access all projects, you'll only see projects you are assigned to. Project Managers can add users to projects individually, or they may add an entire team of users to a project.

Who can add Team Members to Projects?
Users with permission to manage projects are permitted to add team members to projects. Team members may be added to projects individually or by their inclusion within a team.

Adding Team Members to Projects
Teams are created and managed by Admins within your company's account settings. Once a team is created, it can be used throughout the platform and to bulk-add team members to projects.

Project Managers can add team members to projects in two ways:
- When creating a new project
- Within an existing project's Settings
To assign a team or individual to a new project
- Click on Projects in the top navigation bar.
- Select All Projects.
- Click on New Project on the top-right side of the page.
- Fill in the details for the new project.
- Click Save And Continue.
- Select the team or individual from the dropdown menu.
- Click Assign.
To assign a team or individual from the project settings
- Open a project to assign a team/individual to.
- Select Settings on the left sidebar menu.
- Select Team.
- Click Add people to project on the top right of the page.
- Select the team or individual from the dropdown menu.
For company's using the following resource management settings:
When adding a team or individual to a new project or an existing one, an additional step provides the option for you to create project allocations for the newly added team members.
You may choose to complete the form and allocate project time to your resources, or you may skip this step and allocate project resources later on in the future.
