Done projects show current month values in Revenue Recognition. Why?

A project marked as Done still shows values under the current month in Revenue Recognition. Why?

Answer

The project contains tasks with dates in the past that are still 'open' meaning they are not set to Done workflow status. Forecast applies remaining time from those tasks on "today" for financial calculations, and explains why we see values in the current month in Revenue Recognition, even though the project was marked Done months ago. 

To resolve, update all open tasks to Done workflow status.
