Forecast provides artificial intelligent-based time registration helpers for tasks and time registrations. These helpers assist with easily registering time to tasks making more efficient use of your time.

Time registration helpers are powered by predictive AI. Forecast’s machine learning model generates personalized suggestions for tasks or time registrations based on the following user-specific data:
- Tasks
- Projects
- Assigned Person/Role
- Time Registrations
Timesheets
Timesheets includes time registrations helpers in Timesheets and Find Tasks.
Timesheets
Timesheets displays tasks and subtasks that have time registered to them within the selected time range. Additional features include:
- Copy Previous Day: Copy the previous day or week's time entries to the selected week.
- Show Suggestions: AI predictions for timesheets based on what Forecast knows about you.
Find Tasks
Use Find Tasks in My Timesheets to display tasks and subtasks based on the current filter selection. Adjust the filter find assigned to you or others within the selected time range.
In addition to filters, Find Tasks includes:
- Favorite Tasks: A list of task's you've starred whose dates are within the selected day/week.
- My Tasks: A list of all tasks assigned to you whose dates are within the selected day/week.
To access Timesheets and Find Tasks
- Click My Work in the navigation bar.
- Select My Timesheets from the dropdown.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page or use Hide Calendar.
- Click on Timesheets or Find Tasks.
Time Entry Suggestions
Time Entry Suggestions appear in Timesheets and Time Entries within the task modal and are based on historical data from your previous time registrations on similar projects/tasks, internal time, or time off. The more data that resides within a Forecast account the more accurate time entry suggestions will be. A new account will not have time entry suggestions while the AI model learns/teaches itself by collects data.
To use Time Entry Suggestions in Timesheets
- Click on My Work in the navigation bar.
- Select My Timesheets from the dropdown.
- Click Add Timesheet Entry.
- Select the project, task or internal time type.
- Click into Time entry.
- Select a time value from Suggestions.
- Save Time Entry.
To use Time Entry Suggestions in Task Modal
- Click on a task's name to open the task modal .
- Click Time Entries next to Estimate.
- In New time entry, click into the Time Entry field.
- Select a time value from Suggestions.
- Click Add.
