A one-way sync imports Sage Intacct (Intacct) clients and users into Forecast. An automated weekly sync ensures client and user details are consistently updated to match Intacct. Any modifications made to clients or users in Forecast will be overwritten during this weekly synchronization.

Syncing Clients
Clients can be imported in bulk or synced manually. The chart below identifies the field mapping for clients across Intacct and Forecast.

Clients Sync Rules
- In Forecast, customers are referred to as clients.
Customers associated with Intacct projects will be synced to Forecast as clients.
- If a customer in Intacct is removed, the corresponding client in Forecast is unlinked but not removed. The client may be manually re-linked to Intacct with the Forecast client profile.
- If a client is removed in Forecast, the corresponding customer in Intacct will not be removed. The customer may be manually re-imported into Forecast.
To sync clients using Import from Intacct
- Click Admin.
- Select Clients from the dropdown.
- Click Import from Sage Intacct.
- Tick the box for each client you wish to import from Intacct. Or, use Select first 100 clients to bulk import batches of 100 clients.
- Click Import Clients.
- Successfully imported clients display the Sage logo under Integrations on their client profile.
If you have existing Client profiles in Forecast, it is possible to link them manually to Intacct.
To sync existing client profiles with Intacct
- Click Admin.
- Select Clients from the dropdown.
- Click on the client record to open the profile.
- Scroll down to Sage Intacct.
- Click into the dropdown and select the Intacct client to link to Forecast.
- Successfully linked clients display the Sage logo under Integrations on their client profile.
Syncing Users
Bulk import users from Intacct or link existing Forecast user profiles manually. The chart below identifies the field mapping for users across Intacct and Forecast.

Users Sync Rules
- In Forecast, employees are referred to as team members.
- Employees assigned as resources to an Intacct project—with a start date and billing rate—will be synced to Forecast as team members.
- To invite users to Forecast, an Admin will need to add an email address to each user profile in Forecast.
- If a user is removed in Intacct, the corresponding user is unlinked in Forecast but not removed. The user may be re-linked to Intacct with the Forecast user profile.
- If a user is removed from Forecast, the corresponding user is not be removed from Intacct. The user may be re-imported into Forecast.
To sync users using Import from Intacct
- Click Admin.
- Select Resources from the dropdown.
- On the People tab, use Import Team Members from Sage Intacct to import users from Intacct into Forecast.
- In Import Team Members from Sage Intacct, select the permission level you wish to assign and the team members you wish to import from Intacct. For details on permission profiles in Forecast, see About Permission Profiles.

Select Assign imported team members to their Sage Intacct departments, if desired.
- Click Import Selected Team Members.
- Successfully imported users display the Sage logo under Integrations on their user profile.
To sync existing user profiles with Intacct
- Click Admin.
- Select Resources from the dropdown.
- On the People tab, click on the user you wish to link with Intacct.
- Scroll down to Sage Intacct.
- Select the user from the dropdown.
- Successfully linked users display the name of the linked Intacct user in their Forecast profile and the Sage logo under Integrations on their client profile.
