In Forecast, Admins can add users to Client profiles. These users are referred to as guest users. Before guest users can log into Forecast, access their assigned projects, and collaborate with the project team, they must first complete their account setup.

Welcome to Forecast!
When a Forecast Admin creates a guest user profile, a Welcome to Forecast email is sent to the email address entered in the profile.
- Check all inbox folders, including SPAM.
- Verified your email address is entered correctly with a Forecast Admin.
- Forecast has been whitelisted for emails by the your IT team.
Setting up your Guest User account
Once you have received the Welcome to Forecast email, click Get Started in the email body.
To set up your guest user account
- Make any adjustments to your name, as needed.
- Enter your Job Title.
- Create a password.
- Tick the box to consent to Forecast's Terms and Conditions.
- Click Set up account.
Once you click Set up account:
- Your account is created!
- You are immediately granted access to Forecast, opening to the My Tasks page.
Creating your Guest User Profile
Each guest user has a profile that includes Account Configuration, Security, Notification Settings. Within your profile, you can update your account password, set your language preference, manage skills, and configure notifications.
To access your Guest User Profile
- Click on the profile icon at the top right of the page.
- Select Profile from the dropdown.
- Use Account Configuration to review personal information.
- Apply any relevant Skills, if desired.
- Select a Language & formats preference.
The Language setting controls the platform's language translation and determines the format for dates and numbers across the platform.
- Use Security to change your password, if needed.
- Review the Notification Settings to choose how to receive notifications—either in-app, via email, or both. In-app notifications will appear in the bell icon next to the profile icon in the navigation bar.
