Quote Designer turns your Baseline estimate into a polished, branded document you can send straight to your client, without leaving the platform.
Note: Quote Designer works from an existing Baseline. If you haven't created one yet, do that first.

Where to create a quote
Open the Opportunity you want to quote, then go to its Baseline page. Select Create Quote to start a new one.
Building your quote document
The quote designer gives you full control over how your document looks and reads. Your changes appear in the live preview as you work, so you can see exactly what your client will receive.
- Save & Create Quote: Save & create the quote.
- Cancel: Cancel the quote.
- Download PDF: Download your quote as a PDF.

Estimate:
- Role: Every role and its hours
- Phase: One line per phase
- Deliverable: Greyed out if not enabled in Baseline. You can enable deliverables in Baseline Settings to quote at the deliverable level.
- Project Total: A single summary line
- Effort Display (hours): Time Units are set to 'hours' in the Baseline Settings
- Columns: Hours, Rate, and Amount

Roll-ups:
- Expenses per Phase: Shows total expenses for each phase below subtotal
- Phase Subtotals: Totals each group before the summary

- Subtotal
- Expenses Estimated
- Grand Total

Document Sections:
- Cover & details: These details come from the quote data model. Valid Until is the only field you can change here — it defaults to 30 days from the date of issue.
- Introduction: The introduction can be toggled on and off. If turned on, you can customize the text shown here.
- Scope & Estimate Description: The scope of work can be toggled on and off. If turned on, you can customize the text shown here.
- Estimate: Always included in the PDF - configured in the Estimate section.
- Terms & Conditions: The terms & conditions can be toggled on and off. If turned on, you can customize the text shown here.
- Agreement: Always included in the PDF — the signature page is the final authored page and cannot be turned off. By digitally signing, both parties agree to the scope, estimations and terms set out in this quote.
- Branding: Company logo, Accent Color (Used for headings, rules, and totals in the PDF), Font, Default Branding option (This accent color and font are the default for new quotes).

Layout & Theme:
- Themes include: Modern, Classic, and Minimal.
- Page elements include: Page Header (logo, project name, and quote reference) and Page Footer (company name, contact details, and page number).
- Export: Use companyname_quote_{project id}_{client} or {date}
Once a quote exists and you create it, the Create Quote button becomes View Quote — your single place for authoring, tracking, and managing the document going forward.
