Quick Access: Reports > All Reports > New Report > Projects
Forecasts' Project report can create an extensive report with different components that can inform a project manager or a client as to the progress of the company on a certain project. This is done by components that cover different aspects of a project and can be added to the report at any point
This report is only accessible by default by Admins, Controllers, Managers, and Coordinators. The company portfolio page (Company name tab) is accessible by everyone but Collaborators.

Overview of Project report components
Now that the report has been created, it is important to understand what type of information each component brings to the report. The table below explains each component.
Component | Information |
Burn up chart | |
Task List | The task list component will present all tasks that currently reside on the account regardless of their status along with information about the estimate of the task, the time registered, remaining time, the assignee(s), and more. |
Tasks Completed | The tasks completed component will present a pie chart with the number of tasks completed and the number of tasks remaining. |
Cumulative flow | The cumulative flow component will present a diagram showing the number of tasks or estimate summary for the project's status columns over time. it is possible to choose between tasks count or Tasks Estimate from the dropdown just above the diagram. |
Expense Report | The expense report will present all of the expenses that currently reside on the account. It will also contain information as to the project each expense belongs to, the cost, price, the person who created the expense, whether or not it is billable, and more. |
Notes | The notes tab allows for notes to be written down, from the edit view of the report, and presented in the final report. Notes may only be customized on the editing page. |
Overall Velocity | The overall velocity component will present a gauge showing the overall velocity for the project. A low number will mean that work is progressing slower than expected. A high number means work is faster. Ideally, it should be close to 1, which means that the work matches the estimates. |
People List | The people list will present all of the active users on the account. Additionally, it will present information such as permission level, total projects assigned to, total tasks assigned to, total remaining hours of work (deriving from the remaining amount of hours of tasks), and more. |
Estimate vs. reported | The estimate vs reported time component will show a bar chart depicting a comparison between the estimated hours on the project vs the time registered (reported) on the project thus far |
Timeline | The timeline component will depict the overview of the selected project and when is everything in it (phases, tasks) supposed to run. |
Reported Time | The reported time list will present time registrations that reside within the platform. By default, the list will show all of the time registrations but it is possible to narrow the view from the date range selector (field 'Select date range'). |
Sprint burndown (beta) | The sprint burndown component presents a burndown chart showing work remaining during the selected sprint. It is possible to change the sprint represented and the data depicted from the dropdown buttons just above the burndown chart. |
Sprint List | The sprint list component will present a configurable list of sprint data for individual projects e.g. name, progress, and remaining work. |
Sprint Velocity | The sprint velocity component will present a chart showing achieved velocity across all sprints in the project. |
Sprints completed | The sprints completed component will present a pie chart showing the number of sprints done and remaining. |
Most components have some additional functions that can help narrow the view of the lists presented. The table below presents those additional functions and how they work.
Option | Function |
Filters | Add or remove certain filters on a component to narrow the view that is presented. |
Export as CSV | Export the component as a CSV so that it can be used on a different platform. |
Grouping Method | Group the data in the component so that it is tidier. |
Set Date Range | Set the date on the component so that the view is narrowed. |
