Forecast sends different types of notifications regarding platform activity, either via email or in-app. These notifications are related to any assignment, project, and tasks updates or conversations. All notifications are listed in your settings and can be granularly managed, so you can decide what to be notified about. Managing your personal notification settings
To access your personal notification settings
- Click your profile icon in the upper-right corner of the page header, then select My Profile.
- Click on the Notification Settings tab.
- Click through the different sections to view and toggle on/off each type of notification by channel.

When the due date on an invoice is reached | Triggers a notification when the due date on an invoice is reached. |
When an invoice becomes overdue | Triggers a notification when the due date is past on an invoice that is not fully paid. |
When an invoice is 'X' days overdue | The user can input a number to trigger a notification for invoices which are not fully paid 'X' number of days past the due date. |
When an invoice is created or deleted | Triggers a notification when an invoice is created or deleted. |
When an invoice status changes | Triggers a notification when the status of an invoice changes, e.g. between Draft, Approved, Sent, Exported. |
When the invoice date is reached for an invoice | Triggers a notification when the invoice date (not the due date) is reached. |

Viewing your in-app personal notifications
If you have enabled App notifications in the Notification Settings tab, Forecasts ensures that everything that happens in your account is tracked and served to you through the In-App Notification Center and within your notifications logs page.
To view your in-app Notifications
- Head over to the upper-right corner of the page header, then select the Notification Bell icon next to your profile icon.
- Once the Notification Center popover opens, you can click on 'View All' to expand your view and head over to the Notifications tab. This page shows the full list of notification logs.
Note: In the Notification logs tab, you have the ability to mark all notifications as read, or filter your notifications by clicking on the 'Filter' button on the top-right of the page. This will help you run through the notifications you wish to tackle first.
To Manage your in-app Notifications
Within the Notification Center, you have the ability to mark all notifications as read or to temporarily mute your in-app notifications.
- Head over to the upper-right corner of the page header, then select the Notification Bell icon next to your profile icon.
- In the Notification Center popover, click on:
a. Mark all as read: to mark all notifications as read.
b. Mute: to mute your in-app notifications. If you also have email notifications enabled, you will continue to receive them in your inbox.
c. Gear Icon: to manage your notification settings. It will take you to the same Notification Settings page within your profile.
