Why am I unable to move tasks in a project synced with JIRA?

I need to move tasks in a JIRA-synced project but I am not able to. Why?

Answer

Both projects must be synced with JIRA in order to move the task from one project to the other.

If you are using Task Board to move the task, be sure the destination column is synced with JIRA. Synced workflow columns will reflect the JIRA logo.

If the task contains locked time registrations it will not be possible to move it. See Why can I not delete time registrations? for more information.
